Frequently Asked Questions
About the Tarot Readings
- What can I expect from a tarot reading?
A: In a tarot reading, you can expect to receive insights and guidance related to your questions or areas of your life that you’re curious about. The reading involves drawing tarot cards and interpreting their meanings in the context of your query.
- How long does a tarot reading session last?
A: The length of a tarot reading session varies depending on the type of reading you choose. If it is a Zoom session, it can range from 15 minutes for a quick reading to an hour or more for an in-depth exploration. At this point, we are only offering a 30 minute session, which is long enough to explore whatever issues there are, at some depth. With regards to readings done as pdfs sent via email, the depth and detail of the reading depends on the spread that is used and the number of cards in this spread.
- Do I need to prepare anything before my tarot reading?
A: For a Zoom session, you don’t need to prepare anything specific, but it can be helpful to have a clear idea of the questions or areas you want to focus on. The interaction itself, the cards that come up and the questions that may be raised will determine in which direction the reading goes. Keeping an open mind and being relaxed can also enhance your Zoom reading experience.
For a pdf reading, it would be helpful if you put some thought into the question that you want answered. The better you phrase your question and the more precise the context is that you provide for the Tarot reader, the better s/he can interpret the message of the cards and pass this on to you.
- Don’t Tarot readings done via Zoom or in the form of a pdf lose the power that a “live person-to-person” reading has?
A: No, tarot readings done either online and via pdf can be every bit as powerful as readings done face-to-face are. The accuracy and depth of the reading are not diminished by the physical distance, as the energy and intention are what matter most.
- How often should I get a tarot reading?
A: There’s no set frequency for tarot readings. Some people find it beneficial to get readings regularly, such as monthly, while others seek guidance only when facing significant decisions or challenges. It’s entirely up to you and your needs.
- Are tarot readings confidential?
A: Absolutely. Your privacy is of utmost importance. Everything discussed during your reading will be kept confidential.
- Can tarot readings predict the future?
A: Tarot readings can offer insights and potential outcomes based on current energies and patterns. However, they are not definitive predictions of the future. Your free will and choices play a significant role in shaping your future.
- What if I get a negative card or reading?
A: Negative cards or readings are not necessarily bad; they can highlight areas that need attention or growth.
They offer an opportunity to address challenges and make positive changes in your life.
- What happens if I do not like the reading that I got? Can I ask for a refund?
A: The readings we provide are not the kind of readings that fake so-called “psychics” give, the kind in which you are told that “you will soon meet a tall, dark and handsome stranger, marry him, have several wonderful kids and then win the Lotto”.
Our readings are aimed at helping you grow and this may initially involve some less-than-pleasant truths and hard work on your part. The idea being that you find the reading useful in terms of questions or problems you may have rather than necessarily being reassured that everything will be o.k. So, no, unfortunately we do not provide refunds if you do not like the reading you receive!
